The dates for the delivery of four vessels for the "Hydrographic Enterprise" are postponed by several months

Vessels of projects E53.G and BLV03 will be delivered later than planned

The dates for the commissioning of four vessels for the "Hydrographic Enterprise" are postponed by several months.  As a PortNews IAA correspondent reported, Alexander Bengert, director general of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Hydrographic Enterprise (an organization of the Rosatom state corporation), said this during the IX International Forum Arctic projects: Today and Tomorrow in Arkhangelsk.

“We expected to accept four ships into the fleet by the end of this year, now one of them, Yuri Babaev, solemnly froze into the water area of the port of Arkhangelsk and was unable to complete the construction, perform tests, so the deadline for accepting both the head Yuri Babaev and the second Yuri Osokin for May 2022 was postponed”, said the head of the enterprise.  He added that one of these vessels will operate in the west, while the other will be transferred to Pevek.

There are also delays in delivery for two pilot vessels of the BLV03 project, the date of delivery is postponed from December 2021 to May 2022.
